Applications for 2008 membership are now being accepted!

There will be a limit of 300 members for this year's Men's Club. Upon reaching 300 members, only Aurora residents will be accepted. Membership fills quickly, so please do not delay in returning your application if you are interested in becoming a member.

$240

Our Men's Club will again be making a $5/member contribution to Aurora Golf to help offset the many expenses associated with the U.S. Public Links Championship, which will be held at Murphy Creek in 2008.

In order to not have the Match Play take up a tournament date and still have an additional 15th tournament, without reducing tournament payouts, membership dues will increase $5.

Returning members will once again receive a $25 discount off their dues for each new member sponsored.  To receive this discount, all new member applications must accompany the current member's application.

Membership includes the opportunity to enter fifteen Men's Club tournaments; establishment of a CGA/USGA handicap; an Evan/Eisenhower bag tag; tournament prize funding; club operations; and a membership bag tag.  New members without an existing handicap may play in tournaments, but will not be eligible for any winnings until they have at least five (5)  18-hole scores posted in the handicap computer.  If you do not have an established CGA/USGA handicap, please see any Golf Shop staff member to inquire how to establish a handicap.

There will be 3 Board of Directors positions open for elections this year:  Tournaments - Secretary/Treasurer - Handicap .  These positions are for a 2-year term and can only be filled by returning members.  If you are interested in running for any of these positions, go to job descriptions to see each job description, and then indicate on your application in which position you are interested.  We will have the election via e-mail and website over a period of two weeks, to be announced once nominations are completed.

Each member must designate either Saddle Rock or Murphy Creek
as his home course for handicap purposes.

Tournament Schedule:  The Board of Directors carefully reviewed all survey responses following the 2007 season.  Several changes have been made to this year's schedule as a result.

Tournament Sign-Ups Can Be Done On-Line

There will be a spring informational meeting Saturdy, March 15th at the Saddle Rock Golf Course. Tickets for our fabulous golf-merchandise raffle will go on sale starting at 6:00 p.m., with the meeting starting promptly at 6:30 p.m.  All members, especially new members, are encouraged to attend.  We will hand out the 2008 informational packets (also available on the website), present our financial report, and go over all the details for the upcoming season.
